5 DIY Ideas For Old Necklaces My Happy Place

Is DIY in your DNA?If you find yourself scrolling through Pinterest or Etsy thinking, “I could do that,” then this is for you!

If you have a knack for making old things look new, or you simply have too many necklaces lying around, here are some ways to give those necklaces a new lease of life.

1. Headband

This is rather simple to achieve. All you need to do is to loop a hair elastic to secure both ends, and you can wear it as a headband or a crown. Add flowers to nail that Coachella-chic / Snapchat filter look.

2. Bracelet

Use a plier to undo the attachment of the necklace. Next, shorten it then add a lobster claw clasp to attach the ends. Loop them around your wrist. Voila!

3. Earring Organiser

You will need a cork board for this. Secure your necklace on the board with push pins. Next, hang your hook earrings and poke your ear studs through the necklace. With this nifty craft, you never have to dig through your jewellery box again!
